Sekela Thambikeni is a high school graduate who is currently taking a gap year teaching a variety of the arts. She has a deep passion for the expressive arts (art, music, dance, theater, public speaking and writing) believing that it is more than just a performance but also a manifestation of one’s true self. She is the Co-founder of Tanzania Social Reconstruction Africa. A Company that aims to help elevate the middle class children of Tanzania using the Arts to begin to establish a positive outlet of expression. She is also a Politics and Social Development Aspirant who desires to input Godly Kingdom agendas in Politics.

Consolata Shayo is an undergraduate student pursing her degree of medicine at Hubert Kairuki Memorial University. Consolata has been a leader from a very young age, she has volunteered with the Tanzania Youth Alliance and the Rotary club Tanzania. Currently she is the National youth secretary of Tanzania Girl Guides Association (TGGA) with the urge to see many young women emerging as great leaders in the society and nation at large.

Keziah Elaine Ayikoru
is a Ugandan poet, singer, fashion designer and graduate architect. She juggles these fields as she strives to make seamless connections in all she does.She has presented her poetry at different poetry platforms both in Uganda and Tanzania and has been part of poetry groups such as La Poetista in Tanzania and Lantern Meet of Poets in Uganda. She also founded Noisy Pens in Dar es Salaam, which was a forum for sharing and improving poetry through meetings and recitals.She is the founder and designer of Kea Apparel, an East African clothing brand that started in January 2015.

On 28th of April, 2016 at around 7.45pm, I was involved a fatal accident that almost left me dead. I was on a motorbike and a speeding lorry hit the bike on the right side. My right leg was broken four (4) times. My left leg was pierced by a sharp metal which left two deep-cut wounds by the calf muscles. I had bruises on my back and my head swollen and bruised in the middle. I lost a lot of blood and was getting unconscious and passing out. I was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and later admitted at the Agakhan Hospital. I went through four major surgeries and people had to donate blood for me to live. Continue reading
